Dear Iron Horse Families,

Welcome! I am the new full-time speech language pathologist for Iron Horse Elementary K-5. I am excited to be a part of a community full of exceptional educators, students and families! We are also fortunate to have Stephany Bell joining us as our new speech and language assistant (SLP-A) until October 21st to provide treatment and support to our special education program. 

One of the most valuable and important aspects of our job is to build trusting relationships with all of you. I believe in open and frequent communication as well as a collaborative approach when working with children in the school!

In addition to mandated progress reports, I like to keep you informed with what is going on in our sessions, progress, and ways you can work on their skills at home! I use the SeeSaw education app that provides families with instant access to videos, pictures, notes, and more! It is confidential and you will only see posts from your child. If you do not wish your child to be on SeeSaw please let me know. It is also handy to download the mobile app if you have a smart phone!
