Welcome to Iron Horse! I am thrilled to serve our community and look forward to forging long-lasting relationships with your family. I have lived in the Parker area since 1986, when I moved here with my parents from Arizona. I am a graduate of Ponderosa High School and my husband is a graduate of Douglas County High School. We both love the small town feel that we have here in Parker. We have 4 children, all of whom went or are going to Douglas County Schools, and 4 cats who love to get into trouble! I received my B.A. degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver in the area of Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Special Education. I received my teaching license from Metropolitan State College of Denver, as well. I also hold two Master's Degrees; one in Educational Technology from Grand Canyon University and another in Educational Leadership from Jones International University. My experience in teaching began in Special Education and continued in grades K-3. I have been an administrator for the past five years and love the opportunity to serve children and families. I look forward to working with you and your family for many years to come!

Office Staff

Becki Gonzales - Administrative Assistant
Hello! I grew up in the suburbs of San Diego, and met my husband on the Track team in high school. After moving to Baltimore, MD, Lafayette, LA, and Houston TX, we decided to settle down in Parker and start our family. Our son and daughter attend Iron Horse and we love living close to school - you are likely to see me walking to and from work! I am a runner and mountain biker, and I love the outdoors and doing yoga. I really enjoy working at Iron Horse, it fills me with pride to be able to work with students, staff, and parents at helping each child reach their highest potential. Welcome to Iron Horse, I hope to see you soon!

Cyndi Reddy - Health Assistant
Hello, and welcome to Iron Horse! I grew up in Long Beach and Huntington Beach, California. After graduating from Cal State Long Beach, I joined the corporate world where I met my husband. We moved to Parker in 1999 because we loved the small town feel and knew it would be a great place to raise a family. Our daughter attended Iron Horse before moving on to Cimarron Middle School. Each spring and summer we go on several camping trips, and if I ever manage to find any spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, and working on my massive collection of coloring books for grown-ups. When I was younger, I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. After getting hired to be the Health Assistant at Iron Horse in 2014, I finally figured it out! I truly enjoy working with the kids and staff here at Iron Horse.

Welcome! I began my career by receiving a B.A. degree in Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Psychology. I then continued my education and received a teaching license from Metropolitan State College of Denver and a M.A. in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Colorado at Denver. I spent 18 years as a classroom teacher and a Reading Recovery teacher before moving into school administration. I am a Colorado native who married my high school sweetheart 19 years ago. Together, we have twin girls that will be in 8th grade at Cimarron Middle School this year. In my free time, I love the outdoor experiences Colorado has to offer. In the summer, my family rides four-wheelers and motorcycles, and plays golf together. In the winter, we ski and backcountry snowmobile. I am grateful for the opportunity to begin another new school year and look forward to being part of an extraordinary community school building strong relationships with IHE families.

Janet Nolan - Registrar
Welcome to our neighborhood school! I am a Colorado native! My favorite Colorado destinations are Durango, Glenwood Springs, and Marble (love that white marble). My husband and I first saw each other in middle school. Our paths crossed again just a year after my high school graduation when we began to date. We have three grown children and 2 dogs. I have been a school registrar since 1999 working in two front range school districts. I am happy to assist our families in many ways, please do not hesitate to let us know where we can help you.

Carlos Ayala - Building Engineer
Hi! I'm Carlos, the Building Engineer at Iron Horse Elementary! Even though I grew up in warm and sunny Mexico, I love living in Colorado. I love that the weather is so different here and can change in a matter of minutes. I have four kids and three grandkids that I like to spend time with. I love to watch action movies, but Grease is my favorite movie. I also enjoy building and fixing things, including drones, remote control cars, and my own car. I'm looking forward to seeing you around school soon!
